About Local 725

Ironworkers Local 725 represents iron workers in southern Alberta. Local 725 began operations in 1950.

Local 725 belongs to the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers, which represents 120,000 iron workers in Canada and the United States.

Our dedication to proper training and providing a safety driven product is what gives our contractors the upper hand.

Local 725 Training

Local 725 offers skills training courses, safety training courses, and productivity training courses, including OSSA Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, ZOOM BOOM Training/Telehandler, CSTS, and CWB Testing.

High school students in Calgary can learn about careers as ironworkers, earn high school credits, and receive Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, and telehandler certificates thanks to a partnership between Local 725 Ironworkers and the Calgary Board of Education.
