On Sept. 23, approximately 80 members of Teamsters Local 362 walked off the job at Inland Concrete in Calgary.

We encourage those who can to visit the workers and show your support at Inland Concrete locations in the Ramsay, Trotter and Spy Hill communities.

Ramsay Plant – 2303 11th Street SE

Trotter – 10470 74 Street SE

Spy Hill – 11431 69 Street NW

Anticipated picket line hours: 5 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Members have been engaged in a difficult round of collective bargaining since April. The most pressing issue is the employer’s ongoing lack of respect toward employees.

Respect in the workplace is key to battling work site harassment, discrimination and bullying. It also creates a more stable and productive workforce.

All workers deserve to be treated with dignity and fairness on the job and we stand with Teamsters 362 members.

In solidarity,

Terry Parker
Executive Director, Building Trades of Alberta
