WELCOME ROB

The Building Trades of Alberta welcomes Rob Calver as its new Strategic Engagement and Development Director.

Rob comes to us from the Ironworkers Local 725 in Calgary, where he spent 25 years with the hall, eight of them as Local 725’s Business Manager and 10 years as its Apprenticeship Coordinator.

He has a wealth of business recruitment and retention knowledge, and experience working with underrepresented groups in the skilled trades, such as women and Indigenous Albertans.

We look forward to having him as part of the Building Trades of Alberta team on Feb. 3.

Terry Parker,
Executive Director, Building Trades of Alberta
