On behalf of the Building Trades of Alberta Charitable Foundation, I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all our sponsors, donors, volunteers, golfers, guests and others who helped make the John Tackaberry Memorial Golf Tournament on Aug. 23 at the Quarry Golf Course in Edmonton, such a success.

I’m pleased to say because of folks like you, the tournament raised an incredible $121,000 for the Building Trades of Alberta Charitable Foundation. These funds will ensure the charitable foundation can continue to help people, families and communities throughout Alberta.

The Building Trades of Alberta Charitable Foundation has benefited numerous Albertans, providing more than $7.6 million to over 70 non-profit organizations across our province since its early beginnings in 1991.

This is the second year the Building Trades of Alberta Charitable Foundation has hosted the John Tackaberry Memorial Golf Tournament. It would not have happened without the support of our affiliates, members, contractors and friends.

I’m proud the Building Trades of Alberta Charitable Foundation will continue to host this golf tournament in honour of our friend and brother, John Tackaberry, and I invite you to help make next year’s tournament an even bigger success.
