It’s here! 🎥

The Building Trades of Alberta and partner, The Educational Partnership Foundation are excited to share with you Path Forward: Indigenous Skilled Trades Program, Paul Band short documentary!

The doc centres around BTA and TEPF’s groundbreaking, 10-week, on-reserve skilled trades training pilot program at Wihnemne School on Paul First Nation over winter/spring 2022.

This pilot saw eight unionized trades bring world-class, union trainers to the school to work with Indigenous junior and senior high students.

And this is just the beginning.

We’re excited to bring this to more Indigenous communities throughout the province, soon.

Check it out and learn more about this awesome program!

Stay tuned for the long documentary, Path Forward: The Paul Band Initiative, which focuses on how this program has helped bring hope, inspiration and passion to the Nation.
